NEO NAME offers free confidential Nouthetic counseling to couples preparing for marriage, or those struggling in their marriage, finances, and blended families. Led by Darrell & Kathey Wyrick, this ministry is provided by couples trained and certified by the National Association of Marriage Enhancement to scripturally mentor other couples.
1st Assembly realizes that there is an answer to a serious problem — the breakdown of the family. Homes are being reunited, marriages are being restored, and children are being spared the terrible ravages of divorce. NAME Centers are springing up all over the nation to fill this huge need created by broken homes and generational vices.
The focus of NAME is reaching the community. Currently, one out of two marriages end in divorce. We say that is inexcusable — we have proven that there is a solution. NAME provides effective, proven tools for reaching out to the community. We’ve created strategies of marketing, advertisement, and public awareness campaigns to help reach the community. A community is never better than its local church. Churches are coming together and making a difference. When we educate our communities concerning the family, we
are building the leaders God intended as representatives of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are not the answer; rather, we are representatives of the Answer. Through marriage ministry, communities are changing their mentality for God and the people who represent Him. Communities are becoming aware that there is new hope for an old problem, and that there is another option in their dilemma. NAME offers constructive motivational programs for getting involved in our communities to save marriages — for good.
